Ong Bak 2 – awesome muay thai trailer

This is more of a reminder than anything but I had to write Ong Bak 2 because Tony Jaa is a beast among men. I tell everyone to see his films because of the intensity he brings to the screen. While he did manage to disappear from the film during production, Tony Jaa eventually finished making the movie and I have to say, it looks pretty cool. Although there is absolutely no relationship or ties to the first Ong Bak, this one still looks like it’s going to offer some amazing fight scenes that only a man like himself can deliver.

My one complaint about this trailer is that it is almost 4 minutes long which is enough to show way too much of the movie. I only watched about 2 maybe 2 1/2 minutes of it because you get the gist of it after the first minute. Now while the movie is being released in the US on VOD on Sept. 25th, I personally will be waiting to see it in theaters because I love ancient epics with butt-loads of fighting on the big screen. It will hit US theaters on Oct. 23, 2009 and I encourage you all to see it. Although if you’re impatient I understand, the way they release foreign films in the US pisses me off to no end which is why I plan on starting my own foreign distribution company so I don’t have to deal with this crap anymore. But until that point comes we are all stuck patiently waiting for the movie we want to see.

If you have any doubts watch his bad ass movie Ong Bak prior and I bet that will convince you to get off you asses.

So Check out the trailer for this movie out of Thailand and let us know what you think.
