| by Alex DiGiovanna | Movie Reviews, Trailers | Comments

Hey everyone,

I finally got around to posting my second video review so I hope you enjoy it. The movie is entitled B13 (District 13) and it is a French action movie directed by Pierre Morel (Taken) and is written by Luc Besson (5th Element, Leon the Professional, Taken) and Bibi Naceri. The movie stars David Belle and Cyril Raffaelli. With some sweet acrobatic fighting, B13 is on my list of cool movies so check out the review and trailers after the jump. Read more »

Greenberg Trailer

What up folks?
Nothing? Thought so. Anyway, Noah Baumbach’s (Kicking and Screaming, The Squid and the Whale) trailer for his new movie, Greenberg, has recently hit the net. I’ll say this, Ben Stiller has entered the realm of Independent film and it is explicitly blatant in this trailer. Not only the acting but the script as well screams of “help me, my life is pathetic and needs a little something to spice it up!” See what I mean after the jump. Read more »

Typically, I’m not one to encourage remakes of classics but this one was definitely due and I only wish I could have been part of making it. Watch the trailer and more after the jump. Read more »

One Eight Seven (1997) Review

| by Alex DiGiovanna | Movie Reviews | Comments

There aren’t many actors out there today that have the range and capabilities that Samuel L. Jackson does. It seems like one of the busiest men in Hollywood doesn’t know how to say no to a movie…and that’s ok by me. I love watching Mr. Jackson on the screen and it comes to no surprise that I thoroughly enjoyed one of his most underrated and not widely viewed films, 187. This movie has been in my collection for a few years now and whenever I ask anybody if they ever have seen it they usually say ‘no’ in which case we sit down and enjoy a very well written and directed film. Check out the trailer and Read more »
