I got a ’44 INCH CHEST’…trailer

More like 44 inches of awesome! You need to check out this trailer for 44 Inch Chest if you want to enjoy the rest of your day otherwise you’ll spend the next few hours regretting your decision while everyone else talks about how cool this movie looks. The movie is written by the same guys that brought you Sexy Beast (Louis Mellis, David Scinto) and stars Ray Winstone, John Hurt, Tom Wilkinson and Ian McShane. Check out the trailer and more after the jump.

The following is a brief imdb synopsis of this British gangster movie: A jealous husband and his friends plot the kidnapping of his wife’s lover with the intention of restoring his wounded ego. If you like movies like Lock, stock and Two Smoking Barrels then this probably will be up your alley although I can’t say it will necessarily be as violent.

While the entire cast looks phenomenal, I’m a pretty big fan of Ian McShane and Tom Wilinson and I know this movie can’t fail. I’m hoping it will have a wide release becuase I think this movie will be on the same level, review wise, as the new Nicolas Cage flick, The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call – New Orleans. I recently stumbled upon this quote and now my level of patience has significantly dropped in anticipation of this movie. In an interview with Empire magazine, McShane jokingly said that 44 Inch Chest will make Sexy Beast “Look like Mary Poppins!”

Now it’s time to do everyone a favor and watch the revenge driven trailer for the new 44 Inch Chest (located below)!

The movie, directed by Malcolm Venville, currently has no US release date set.
