Ong Bak 3 Trailer hits with More Vengeance!!!!!!

| by Alex DiGiovanna | Trailers | Comments

TONY JAA IS BACK with his third installment of the popular fighting trilogy, Ong Bak. The trailer gives you a pretty good idea of what the movie is going to be about. Simply put, it is a movie based on vengeance, and let’s face the fact that I love vengeance and so does this movie’s target demographic . With new Muay Thai kill combos coupled with a barbaric appearance, Tony Jaa is back and promises to bring to the screen what we all love about him, his ability to kick ass. This could very well be the best martial arts trilogy out there. Check out the new trailer after the jump Read more »

Edge of Darkness Video Review

| by Alex DiGiovanna | Movie Reviews | Comments

Hey folks,
I went to an early screening in Boston for the new Mel Gibson movie Edge of Darkness and so I thought I would relay my thoughts about it in a quick video. This movie is the epic return of Mel Gibson to cinema and overall a pretty good flick. This is a movie that Massachusetts people would find enjoyable especially when Gibson drops the greatest line about Massachusetts ever. The movie also stars Ray Winstone, Danny Huston and is Directed by Martin Campbell (Casino Royale)

The Castle Movie Review (Australia-1997)

| by Alex DiGiovanna | Movie Reviews | Comments

“We’re going to Bonnie Doon!” You say those 5 words around any Australian and I guarantee you that you just became their favorite foreigner. That is quite possibly the most famous movie quote in Australia and is instantly recognized across the country. The movie which this quote is derived from is called The Castle, a fun and odd comedy based on the lives of ordinary working class Australians, or Aussie battler. Read more »

Check out the New Zealand ‘Boy’ Trailer

| by Alex DiGiovanna | Trailers | Comments

Michael Jackson, rugby, superpowers, and deep sea treasure diving are just a few of the fantastic characteristics of this movie. Intrigued yet? I am. This is the first trailer I have decided to post about a movie premiering at the upcoming Sundance Film Festival. The movie, directed by Taika Cohen (Eagle vs. Shark), is entitled Boy. I know, the title tells you a lot, doesn’t it? Even if it doesn’t, watch the trailer because it’s a fun and uplifting Michael Jackson filled event. The trailer has almost a Son of Rambow feel to it even though the plot is totally different. Check it out after the jump. Read more »

Death at a Funeral is Hysterical (Review-England)

| by Alex DiGiovanna | Movie Reviews | Comments

Who knew death could be so hysterical. I knew it could be funny, but Death at a Funeral is the most creative, witty, and comical movie I have ever seen on the subject. Not only does it have humor that appeals to both Brits and Americans, but anyone that has lost a relative in any part of the world could find this both horrible and hysterical all at the same time. This movie has it all, an ancient, angry uncle, a druggie relative, and the best part, a MIDGET (little person). Check out the rest of this colorful review after the jump. Read more »
