Their latest film, featuring Christian Bale and Amy Adams, tells us about the true story of Massachusetts boxer “Irish” Mickey Ward and his rise to becoming a respectable pro boxer.

This solid sports drama that will be slugging its way into theaters on December 10th so hit the jump to check out my review and to find out how Wahlberg held up in the rink, if Christian Bale will win an Oscar for best supporting actor, and if Russell’s first film in six years is going to be as good as your hoping it will be.

    I thought this was a great movie for what it’s worth. I think it was trying to give a message to everyone. The oldest is unbelievable in this movie but he caught my attention. I think my DISH co-worker were happy to know that it was a good movie now they can see it. Ordering it on PPV in HD was beautiful during the fighting scenes. It was 3 out of 5 stars for just because it was kind of boring in some parts and the mother wasn’t the best but I still liked it.
