I don’t agree with the author of this review. This movie is not typical and will keep you on the edge of your seat. It explores the immigrant lifestyle we know very little about in this part of the world. We also get a glimpse of human trafficking.
Do not focus on repeated story of a criminal. There are ups and downs to every crime story we saw in other films, but that’s expected. As a viewer, treat this film as a documentary following a young man and see the underworld of Copenhagen through his eyes, which camera constantly explores in this film. His eyes appear to be fearless and cold, yet it’s only a trick.

      Thanks for commenting, Rolan!
I don’t disagree with you — in fact I said several times in the review that although the story is typical (criminal gets in over his head), the film itself is anything but typical because it treats that plot so differently and is uniquely. I thought those were both really impressive!

However, I’m not sure why a viewer should “treat” the movie like a documentary since it isn’t a documentary. But perhaps viewers might enjoy the film more if they take your advice. Anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed the film and it’s finding the right audience.
