Straight from his twitter feed, producer Brian Grazer has stated the following in regards to the 24 movie:
Got off the phone Keifer yesterday and we are very excited about producing the ‘24‘ movie for next year.
(This was taken straight from Grazer’s twitter page and yes I know he misspelled Kiefer’s name.)
About a month ago, Kiefer Sutherland stated that the 24 movie is indeed happening and that it will be released next year.
For a film that has no cast assigned to it and is still in development, they have a lot left to do and not much time to do it in. Unless they are planning on a fall to winter release for the film, I don’t think it will be ready in time.
