This is the worst news I have received in quite some time. The one thing I, and probably thousands of others, were looking forward to this year at Comic Con was Marvel’s big reveal in the legendary Hall H of The Avengers.
Hero Complex, however, has just shattered that dream and excitement for me by announcing that Marvel has opted to skip their Hall H conference this year.
In case you don’t know how Comic Con works, Hall H is the massive hall where all the major studios hold their press conferences and usually show a trailer or pilots of movies and television shows. For example, last year Marvel had the entire Avenger’s cast up on stage and also showed trailers for Thor and Captain America.
Really Marvel????? The first year Alex and I get to go to Comic Con you decide not to show up in Hall H!!!!! WHAT THE HELL MAN!!!!!!!! This is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Hero Complex did say that Marvel will still have a big presence at the con, but that leaves me with little hope.
There has been no confirmation of other studios opting out of Hall H, so I guess I can hope for The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel. We do know that The Amazing Spider-Man will be presented at the hall and that Cowboys & Aliens will be having it’s world premiere at Comic Con, so not all is lost.
Still I want some damn answers!!!! Why skip the hall, cheat the fans, and break my heart Marvel???? Maybe I can send Joss Whedon a message and see if he can change their mind! They have been filming now for a few months so they have to have something ready!
