There is nothing better then a trip down memory lane when times were simpler and American Pie was one of the most talked about films in 1999. So what better way to pay homage to the old days then to make the poster for American Reunion very similar to the original American Pie poster.
As you can see from the poster everyone from the original is back and even the famous apple pie has graced the poster only it’s been eaten as oppose to, well you know.
Here’s the original poster, see if you can spot the similarities and check out how much the cast has or has not aged.
I will say it is a bit disappointing that they did not let Tara Reed show off her assets in the new poster, but then again that might be for the best.
As suggested by the poster, the whole cast is back which include Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein,Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Seann William Scott, Natasha Lyonne, Thomas Ian Nicholas,Tara Reid, Eugene Levy, Shannon Elizabeth, and Jennifer Coolidge — Not to be outdone by the original cast, there are a few newcomers to the film, Chuck Hittinger, Jay Harrington, Ali Cobrin, Dania Ramirez, and Katrina Bowden.
The fourth film in the series (not including the direct to DVD ones) is directed by Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg, the film hits theaters April 6, 2012.
