Yesterday, South By South West unveiled the films that will be showing during the famous midnight features block. Last year during the event, some will remember a few little films like Attack the Block and Insidious showing in the midnight spot. This year it looks like we will be in store for some amazing films again.
The ones that stand out immediatly to me are the ones that have already received some praise due to Sundance. We have Ti West‘s V/H/S, which some will remember is the horror/suspense film a man passed out during. Also in the midnight slot is Clive Owen’s latest thriller Intruders, which I’m still not entirely sure what it’s about besides the brief synopsis that had been given. I’ll also point out that there is a Super Secret Screening as well, which could be a number of upcoming films and the film is never released until minutes before the screening. If I remember correctly, last year the secret film was Another Earth which won a few awards earlier at Sundance, this year it is anyone’s guess.
