If you are tired of seeing quick glimpses and terrible toy renditions of Rhys Ifans as The Lizard in the upcoming reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man, then rejoice because we have official stills now!
Sony has released two stills which are probably screen grabs from the new trailer, which is set to release tomorrow, of The Lizard wearing his famous lab coat and also a close up of his claw. I will say after the footage shown at SDCC last year, this rendering of the lizard is looking much better. I really wish we got a nice shot of his face but that will have to wait.
Is it just me or does it look like his face might be a bit longer now and he might actually look like the Lizard everyone recognizes as oppose to the Goomba looking Mario Bros. reject like we have seen.
Set for release July 3, 2012, the Marc Webb directed film features an all-star cast including Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field.
