A few months back we got our unofficial first look at Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger in Mikael Håfström’s upcoming Sci-Fi/action prison film, The Tomb. This past weekend though, the first official image for the movie hit the net thanks to The Wall St. Journal. The pic, while not that impressive, shows the two co-leads looking concerned, annoyed or in the process of sizing something up. To be honest, who cares? With the Expendables 2 set to release this weekend any opportunity to see these two fellas on screen together is something I’ll never pass on.
Ray Breslin (Stallone) is the world’s foremost authority on structural security. After analyzing every high security prison and learning a vast array of survival skills so he can design escape-proof prisons, his skills are put to the test. He’s framed and incarcerated in a master prison he designed himself. He needs to escape and find the person who put him behind bars
If having those two guys int he flick wasn’t enough, the movie also co-stars Jim Caviezel, Vincent D’Onofrio, Sam Neill, Vinnie Jones, Amy Ryan and 50 Cent. So yeah, there are other good reasons to see this too. Not much else to say about this except that you can expect to see The Tomb in theaters at some point in 2013.
