Summer is winding down, which means only one thing, Halloween, and all it’s ghoulishness, is arriving soon! With this in mind, we here in Denver are eagerly anticipating Denver’s 4th Annual Mile High Horror Festival. I am lucky enough to be located in one of the greatest cities in the country (yep, Denver) and have the first scoop on who will be the first round of celebrities attending the festival.
A big thank you to everyone with the MHHF for including Movie Buzzers for this immediate release. MHHF announced this first wave of guests yesterday in their press release. Keep checking here for the latest announcements!
During the festival weekend, HELLRAISER fans will have the privilege of meeting Douglas Bradley, who played the iconic horror character “Pinhead,” beginning in 1987 and continuing throughout Clive Barker’s HELLRAISER film series.
Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD, THE DEVIL’S REJECTS) will be in attendance during the entire weekend. Foree will also be on hand during a rare screening of George Romero’s 1978 zombie classic DAWN OF THE DEAD, the film that put Foree on the map as one of the most recognizable actors in the horror genre.
Meg Foster, confirmed for the weekend, is best known for her work in the 1988 John Carpenter film THEY LIVE. Foster has also starred in MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE (1987) and Rob Zombie’s THE LORDS OF SALEM (2012).
Jeffrey Reddick, creator of the FINAL DESTINATION series, will return as this year’s grand jury chair.
Additional guests will be announced.
Festival and ticket information is available at www.mhhff.com.
Stay tuned guys! This is going to be one exciting festival!!!
