Charity man, dedicated performer, a respectful human and an overall good man, it came as a shock to myself and people all around me when the news of Paul Walker’s death broke. For those of you that haven’t heard the news, Paul Walker was a passenger in a in terrible automotive accident which killed both him and the driver and the aftershock is still being felt around Hollywood.
Even if you weren’t a fan of his work, it’s hard to argue that few people don’t know who Paul Walker is and it’s even harder to say he’s not a likable guy. While some may know him from films like She’s All That and Varsity Blues, he made a name for himself as one of the core characters in the massively popular Fast and the Furious franchise. For me, he’ll be remembered for one of my favorite and highly underrated thrillers, Running Scared.
There is no word on the status of the seventh Fast and Furious film, which is still shooting, but fingers crossed he completed filming his role and that we’ll get to see him one last time in a FF film on the big screen because he definitely represents the heart of the team. You can see Paul next in the English language remake of the parkour action film B13, titled Brick Mansions.
Below is the official statement from his reps and we at Movie Buzzers want to offer our condolences to his family, friends and fans. R.I.P. Mr. Walker, you shall be missed.
