When Woody Allen likes an actress she’ll end up with plenty of work. After working with Diane Keaton throughout the 1970s, Mia Farrow throughout the 1980s, and Dianne Wiest and Julie Kavner in the mid 1980s through the mid 1990s, Allen made three films in the 2000s with Scarlett Johansson. Now, after making one film with Emma Stone — Magic in the Moonlight, which will be released in July — Stone will go two-for-two when she stars in Allen’s next movie.
Variety reports that Stone will co-star with Joaquin Phoenix in the film, which will shoot this July. As usual, it will be written and directed by Allen and details on the project will remain under wraps until close to the release date.
…which is exactly why I have nothing else to add to this post! So, what are your thoughts on Stone and Phoenix in Woody Allen’s next film? Let us know in the comments below.
