X-Men: First Class seems to be the quieter little brother to this summer’s Thor and Captain America, as the latter two have gotten much more buzz than the X-Men prequel. However, as we get closer to the release date of X-Men: First Class I can’t help but get excited as, little-by-little, information about the upcoming film trickles out. Above we have Sebastian Shaw (Kevin Bacon) and Emma Frost (January Jones) discussing what is doubtlessly a very evil plot in a very shiny room. After the jump you can see the two character posters featuring James McAvoy as the young Professor Xavier and Michael Fassbender as the young Magneto.
I can say, without hesitation, that if you didn’t know that this film was a prequel, these posters demonstrate that they are very well. I’m getting a “Darth Vader shadow from Jake Lloyd Phantom Menace poster vibe here.”

X-Men: First Class is set for a June 3rd release and also stars Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and Rose Byrne (Moira MacTaggert).
