Coming from Fox: Abe Lincoln Versus Vampires?!?

You know somebody’s going to protest this: 20th Century Fox has purchased the rights to the live-action adaptation of the bestselling Seth Grahame-Smith novel Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter. Yeah, it’s exactly what it sounds like. More after the jump!

The project comes with Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov (try saying that one five times fast) and Tim Burton attached as director and producer, respectively. Grahame-Smith has adapted the novel himself, which features the beloved president fighting vampires to avenge the death of his mother. Seriously.

This could either be great fun (like Zombieland), or a total disaster. I think a lot of it will have to do with who is cast as Lincoln and what the tone of the film ends up being. Who do you think could play Lincoln? Let us know below!
