Variety reports that Ryan Reynolds is in final negotiations to voice the lead snail in DreamWorks animated film “Turbo“.
Turbo, directed by David Soren, is the story about a garden snail who has a dream of becoming the world’s fastest snail. He is involved in a freak accident and develops extraordinary speed and attempts to make his dream become a reality.
The film is set to release on June 7, 2013.
If you add this to the list of films Reynolds is either signed on to or in negotiation to star in, he is going to be a very busy man. Let’s think about it for a moment, Green Lantern 2, The Change-Up, Deadpool, Justice League (Possibly), Turbo, The Croods, Safe House, R.I.P.D. That’s a pretty hefty load for the next 2 and a half years. Let’s just hope movie lovers don’t get burnt out on Reynolds before then.
