IMDB lists Hesher for an April 2011 release and we definitely know it’s not coming out this weekend, although the film has hit Sundance 2010 and SXSW 2011. However, Movieline posted this most recent movie poster, with a Metallica-inspired logo, adding some rock / metal-edge to the movie which also features music by the group.
The website reports that Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception) plays “a pyromaniac nihilist who reunites a family.” Somewhere along the way he meets a frumpy Natalie Portman (No Strings Attached) and befriends the son of Rainn Wilson (The Office).
