Bruce Lee, the legendary Kung-Fu movie star, is finally getting the big screen treatment he deserves. Bruce Lee, My Brother is the story about Lee’s younger years, focusing on his life-story before he became the superstar that we all know and love. To commemorate his 70th birthday, Media Asia will be releasing the film in Hong Kong theaters on November 27th, Lee’s actual birthday.
Aarif Lee, a respected young actor, will be taking the lead as Bruce. For those with doubts, Lee was awarded Best Newcomer at the Hong Kong Film Awards earlier this year for his excellent performance in Echoes of the Rainbow starring Simon Yam. Co-starring with Aarif is Tony Leung Kar Fei, Christy Chung, Michelle Yip and Angela Gong along with Raymond Yip (The Warlords) in the director’s chair. After the jump you can check out the teaser poster and some stills from the upcoming biopic.
