Over the past two weeks, Director Andrew Stanton had been making his publicity rounds to talk about his film John Carter and filmmaking in general. His first talk was at the TED2012 conference in which he discussed his career, life and good storytelling principles to know and understand. This one was very popular and made its rounds around the net just befor eJohn Carter was released. Hi s second long form video was part of the Google Talks Q&A program where we get 51 minutes to listen to the man talk about John Carter and his take on the whole filmmaking process.
I personally only watched the Google Talks one thus far but it was really good and worth listening to if you are a film fan or enjoy any of Pixar’s most popular films. Below are the embeds for both videos, so if you have some time or are busy on your computer but press play and put it on in your background, I guarantee you’ll learn a thing or two, I know I did.
