One of my favorite things in life is watching a gritty UK film where you have bad ass guys doing bad ass things. That’s why films like Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels are such a joy to watch.
In this week’s Beat Down of the Week, we get to see the Mickey the pikey from Snatch, played by Brad Pitt, doing what he’s good at, boxing. Except in this scene Jason Statham tells Mickey that he can’t knock the other guy out, which might be tough for someone who can hit like a sledgehammer. I’ll let you watch the entire scene to see how Mickey gets the crap kicked out of him and then simply turns the fight completely around.
If you haven’t seen Snatch yet, then you are missing out on one of the coolest movies of our generation. It’s directed by Guy Ritchie and has an all-star cast that is bound to make your drool.
