Now I don’t think I have to tell you again how awesome Tony Jaa is. Despite his meltdown that led to the mess of Ong Bak 3 and maybe even 2, he is still a beast among men and one to be feared on the big screen.
In this week’s Beat Down of the Week I had to choose a specific fight where Jaa’s strength is no match for his opponents, and his comeback had to be one complete fueled by rage and hatred. Why you ask? Because let’s face it, no one wants to mess with a pissed of Thai beast with elephant bones strapped to his arm.
If you didn’t guess it by now, I’m talking about the testosterone, roid raid fueled final battle in Prachya Pinkaew’s The Protector (Tom yum goong). The movie follows Jaa as he tries to find the people who stole his elephant. If you haven’t seen it, the movie is awesome and was one of the first Jaa films to get some major recognition here in the states, or at least that’s when I started to notice his films.
Anyway, enjoy Jaa crushing some really big skulls as he gets extremely pissed off.
