About a month ago I posted an eerie but crappy trailer for Simon Yam’s (Echoes of the Rainbow) new hospital thriller, Midnight Heartbeat. Well, after patiently waiting for both a clearer and better trailer, a new one has finally arrived and it has only taken the eeriness of the first trailer and turned it up a notch.

The filmmakers, PR and marketing folks are keeping their lips tight on this one by not even releasing a synopsis for the film. Maybe they are expecting it to be a surprisingly twisted hit when it takes over China on December 24th. The story might be full of so many twists and turns that any plot details could spoil it for the viewer.
