If you didn’t know, a sequel to the popular comedy Horrible Bosses is currently in the works and the and New Line is making damn sure they can deliver a worthy sequel for fans of the first.
We already knew that Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jamie Foxx were set to return to reprise their roles but then we got word that Chris Pine had signed on to be one of the new horrible bosses while Christoph Waltz was courted but never signed due to a variety of potential issues. It seems though things have changed as the new Tarantino favorite has signed on to join the cast. He “and Pine will be a father-son duo who terrorize the main characters as their new bosses.”
Furthermore, according to Variety, Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey have also just closed their deals to return to the film. God knows what Spacey’s character will be doing but I’m excited to see what Aniston brings to the table for her second go-around.
Production is set to begin on Horrible Bosses 2 in the first week of November with the film set to release the following year on Nov. 28, 2014. Sean Anders is set to direct.
