Let’s be honest — who knows more about the water and Double-Ds than David Hasselhoff? The star of the long-running California lifeguard show Baywatch, which launched the careers of numerous Playboy Playmates, certainly knows more than the average man about both of those topics. So it seems like a welcomed no-brainer that IGN is reportingthat David Hasselhoff has been added to the cast of Piranha 3DD. I mean, how else would you resurrect your career?
The sequel — which will take place in a water park — will be directed by John Gulager from a script by Patrick Melton and Marcus Dustan (the team behind Feast). Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd, and Paul Scheer are all returning to the cast, joined by Katrina Bowden (TV’s 30 Rock), Danielle Panabaker (Friday the 13th), Gary Busey, Matt Bush (Adventureland), Chris Zylka (The Amazing Spider-Man), David Koechner (Anchorman), and Meagan Tandy (Unstoppable). It is set for a November 23 release.
Well, what do you think? Can the Hoff save us all from the deadliest water threat since the alligators on Baywatch? Let us know what you think in the comments below!
