Will Emma Watson forever be know as Hermione? I sure hope not and neither does she. Now that Harry Potter is finally wrapped up, Emma has been exploring the independent world and taking a few smaller roles in films. Her next films that aren’t Potter related will be, My Week with Marilyn, which is currently in post-production and also the book adaptation of, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower staring Logan Lerman.
Lerman has taken to twitter to release a few photos of the cast along with our first look at Miss Watson.
Stephen Chbosky wrote the original book and is directing the film (I’m always a fan when authors do this). The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is about a shy kid who describes his 1991 adolescent adventures — featuring some early explorations with sex and drugs and dealing with suicide and mental illness — in a series of letters to an anonymous pen-pal.
Emma was so passionate about wanting to be a part of this film, that they actually postponed production so she could finish Harry Potter and be a part of it.
