We’ve seen a number of character posters for the upcoming Sin City sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, but one has been noticeably missing: a character poster of the beautiful Eva Green, who portrays the titular dame to kill for Ava Lord. Now we know why: according to the New York Post, the MPAA has determined that Green’s poster is just too damn sexy.
The Post reports that the MPAA rejected the poster because of the “curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.” Now that description sounds dirtier than the actual poster! I wonder if the members of the MPAA speak to their mothers with those mouths.
Apparently Dimension Films is working on a more “acceptable” poster to put out before the August 22 release, but thankfully the distributor has revealed the “dirty” version, which you can check out below. Frankly, I think Russ Meyer got away with a lot worse in the 1970s…
