More New Images From The Set of Baz Luhrmann’s ‘The Great Gatsby’

It wasn’t too long ago when the first image of Tobey Maguire (Brothers) in costume as Nick Carraway came out while in Australia filming F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic The Great Gatsby.  Baz Luhrmann (Moulin Rouge) is bringing the story to life in 3D, along with a star-studded cast which includes Leonardo DiCaprio (J. Edgar) as the title character and Carey Mulligan (Shame) as Daisy Fay Buchanan, the long lost love of Gatsby’s.

Thanks to The Daily Mail, new pictures have emerged of the lead actors on set in costume between shots.  Here we see a dashing DiCaprio embracing the Jazz Age style while sharing some laughs with co-stars on the set which acts as the luxurious estates of Long Island some eighty years ago.  Mulligan is every bit a lady in a lavender flapper dress, while Maguire pales in comparison as the movie’s cardigan-wearing narrator.
