A quickie review is a segment on Moviebuzzers.com that skips all the fluff in a review and gets right to the point for when you’re running short on time, want the facts of the film, and, on occasion, you know that plot isn’t really important for your next cinematic experience.
I think it is safe to assume that Jackass 3D definitely fits the “plot isn’t important” category and with that I give to you the JACKASS 3D Quickie Review.
- •The third installment of Jackass is hysterical. Everything has been taken up a notch and the level of nastiness of some of the stunts has been brought up as well. (There are some really impressive stunts)•You won’t be able to breathe during the first half due to laughter but when you finish the second half your stomach starts to feel better. It didn’t seem like they were able to keep up the same level of hysteria for the entire film.•The guys are getting older, a bit wiser, and it shows when they express their immediate regret of performing their stunts
•There is a lot of dick in this one
•There is no party boy
•The 3D works well and does add some humor but, in my opinion, isn’t really necessary
•The “High Five” prank that you see in the trailer is even more epic on the big screen, especially when you watch the side view and replays of it.
•The end is touching since it recaps the younger years of the same crew we just spent 94 minutes watching
•Overall, not as funny as the first two but definitely worth seeing in theaters
I think you get the picture now. The film was directed by Jeff Tremain, written by Preston Lacy, and stars them alongside the lovable cast comprised of Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Steve-O, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Jason Acuna aka Wee Man, and many more Jackasses.
Jackass 3D is out in theaters everywhere so go check it out and prepare to fall over from laughter.
