With the blessings of John Gotti Jr., John Travolta will be playing John Gotti Sr. in Nick Cassavetes Gotti: Three Generations. Man that’s a lot of John’s in one sentence!
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news last night that Travolta will portray the now deceased New York mob boss in the upcoming film. Gotti Jr. is allegedly going to be on stage with both Travolta and Cassavetes for a press conference on April 12th in New York.
Not much is known about the upcoming indie film which was penned by Leo Rossi. If I had to guess we should possibly see it making it’s rounds in the Festival Circuit sometime next year depending on when production begins.
For some reason this reminds me of The Soprano’s when the mob was trying to make a slasher film….. This should be interesting.
