If you thought that Arnold Schwarzenegger would have any trouble finding other actors to take part in his Hollywood comeback — face it, Arnold didn’t have the best co-stars before he became governor — think again: Twitch Film reports that Johnny Knoxville, Forest Whitaker, and Luis Guzman have signed on for roles in Last Stand. The trio will join Eduardo Noriega (Open Your Eyes) and Peter Stormare (Fargo) as the main villains who face off against Schwarzenegger’s border town sheriff in a battle over… drugs? Prostitutes? Illegal guns? Bootleg copies of The 6th Day? Who cares, as long as Arnold’s kicking ass!
Last Stand just began production for a 2013 release and will be directed by Kim Jee-Woon (A Tale of Two Sisters, The Good, The Bad, and the Weird) from a script by Andrew Knauer that was rewritten by Jeffrey Nachmanoff.
