This bit of news should make everyone over at Bloody Disgusting Selects and The Collective extremely happy. The two companies are distributing a new anthology horror film titled V/H/S and last night it made its midnight premiere at the Sundance Film Festival.
Now while that is all well and good, the best part is that someone passed out during the first grusome part of the film, according to Deadline. After recovering while the EMTs were on site, the man apparently wanted to stay for the rest of the film but his girlfriend suggested he shouldn’t (what a way to emasculate your boyfriend). Oh, by the way, 20 minute later another audience member was then treated for nausea so maybe it was good that he left.
I’m personally really excited for V/H/S now and am curious just how intense it actually is. When people usually leave or pass out during movies it is usually the mark of approval for horror fans, despite the actual quality of the feature. So for all of you out there who liked messed up shit, keep V/H/S on your radar.
