Mel Gibson, Everyone’s (least?) favorite Australian nutcase is back (again?). I already told you about his non-cameo in The Hangover 2, but that’s not the only Gibson project that’s having trouble. Gibson stars in the Jodie Foster-directed comedy The Beaver, but due to Gibson’s image, which is currently in the toilet, it’s unknown when the film will actually be released. However, comingsoon.net has revealed the poster for the film so the release might be coming sooner rather than later. Hit more to check it out!
Here you go…
Is it just me, or did the designer specifically do everything possible to hide the fact that Gibson is the star of the film? I mean, that dude could be anyone behind the puppet. Furthermore, having the puppet front and center almost makes this look like a family-friendly film, which it certainly isn’t. Then again, you’d expect a movie titled The Beaver to feature the beaver prominently.
Oh, the movie’s plot? Gibson plays a mentally troubled man who uses the beaver puppet to communicate with others. That’s all you need to know, right?
The Beaver stars both Gibson and Foster and is set for release… sometime this century.
