Danny Boyle, the director of movies such as Slumdog Millionaire, Sunshine, and 28 Days Later, has finally released his new film 127 Hours starring James Franco. This true story is based on mountain climber Aron Rolston’s experience of being trapped for five days in a crack in the earth with his arm pinned between a bolder and a stone wall. Armed with traditional hiking gear, Aron attempts to free his arm by utilizing the resources around him until he faces the harsh reality that the only way to survive is by amputating his arm. The movie is an intense ride unlike anything you’ve ever experienced in a theater before. It is powerful, thought provoking, and, as I said before, intense, so hit the jump to hear my thoughts on this amazing film.
Rating: 127 Hours is an intense movie experience unlike anything you’ve ever partaken in (8/10)
