There have been a lot of reviews written for this movie after its world premier at Telluride and continued screenings at the Toronto Film Festival and so I thought I would provide a quote from filmjunk.com to give you a little insight into how the movie plays out and its appeal to the audience.
“Up in the Air is an indie comedy with a ton of mainstream appeal, but it also has a deeper, human element that draws you in. It’s funny yet thoughtful, and it has so much to say about the current economic climate that we are living in, that it’s impossible not to recommend.”
The official lot: Ryan Bingham is a corporate downsizing expert whose cherished life on the road is threatened just as he is on the cusp of reaching ten million frequent flyer miles and just after he’s met the frequent-traveler woman of his dreams.
