First Official Look at a Jacked Jackman in ‘The Wolverine’

Unlike many of the Internet savvy cinephiles out there, I resisted the temptation to look at spy photos from the upcoming X-Men origins sequel, The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman as the titular badass character.

Luckily, my patience has paid off because Fox has decided to release the first official still from James Mangold’s upcoming feature.  The badass still features shiny claws, a ton of veins and an angry wolverine stare, the key ingredients to any badass looking Wolverine.  Now, let’s hope this film is better than the original and, more importantly, more badass.  It should have an easy time doing this since the main villain is none other than the Silver Samurai since, as all men know, samurai are very badass.

The Wolverine is set for a July 26, 2013 release so let the countdown begin.
