Warner Brothers has just released three new photos of Ryan Reynolds as the Green Lantern. The mask looks a lot better then in the original trailer, but I don’t know how I feel about the feet part of the suit. Overall I think it looks awesome and can’t wait for the film on June 17th. Read more
Straight from his twitter feed, producer Brian Grazer has stated the following in regards to the 24 movie: Got off the phone Keifer yesterday and we are very excited about producing the ‘24‘ movie for next year. (This was taken straight from Grazer’s twitter page and yes I know he misspelled Kiefer’s name.) About a […] Read more
It has been a very long 11 days worth of festivaling (Yes, I made this word up), but after 85 features and 84 shorts for a total of 169 films from 27 countries, I’m glad to say this year’s Dallas International Film Festival is a wrap. I want to thank everyone associated with DIFF for […] Read more
Now this ought to be a good team! Sylvester Stallone e-mailed Ain’t It Cool News to reveal that Walter Hill will be in the director’s chair for Stallone’s Headshot. Hill may not be a household name, but the list of films he has worked on speaks for itself: not only did he direct Hard Times, The Driver, 48 […] Read more

It’s being reported that Alyson Hannigan has signed on to reprise her role as Michelle Flaherty-Levenstein in the 4th and hopefully final America Pie film, American Reunion. I’m not really sure how this film made it into the festival, but somehow it earned an “Official Selection” ,so yeah. It’s not a very long film and seems more like a marketing ploy by the community of Castle Hills, but what the heck, I watched it anyways. Cooper and the Castle Hills Gang directed […] Read more
One of my favorite things to do at a festival is to just attend a random movie without reading any synopsis or knowing what you are about to see, all you know is the title and your mind runs wild. This was the case for one of the final films I saw at the festival […] Read more
My final film of the 2011 Dallas International Film Festival, Ironclad, was suggested by our very own Alex DiGiovanna and I’m pleased to say that it kept my adrenalin pumping through most of the film. Ironclad, directed by Johnathan English, tells the epic story about a group of Knights Templar that are forced to defend […] Read more
Well, a logo and 5 seconds of “ape” is enough to get my interest! 20th Century Fox has released the first official ape footage from WETA from Rise of the Plant of the Apes, and although it isn’t very long, what’s here already looks very, very cool. I love how just the expression on the ape’s face […] Read more
