Teddy bears are going to be ruined forever in the eyes of anyone that see’s Seth MacFarlane’s debut feature film, Ted. The red band trailer, which was recently released, is hilarious and I am going to pray that it doesn’t ruin all the funny parts of the movie because if there is 80 more minutes worth of raunchy comedy I am going to be a very happy camper.
The film stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis and an animated Teddy Bear that’s voiced by MacFarlane. Essentially, the little Teddy Bear is a foul mouthed, R rated fluffy version of Peter Griffin but much more tolerable in my opinion. Oh, and for those of you that dont’ know, MacFarlane is the creator of Family Guy and the voice of Peter.
So without spoiling anything, check out the trailer below from Funny or Die and start getting excited for the July 13th release of Ted.
Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane brings his boundary-pushing brand of humor to the big screen for the first time as writer, director and voice star of Ted. In the live action/CG-animated comedy, he tells the story of John Bennett (Mark Wahlberg), a grown man who must deal with the cherished teddy bear who came to life as the result of a childhood wish…and has refused to leave his side ever since.
