On Tuesday night, I had an opportunity to plop myself on the red carpet for a special NY screening of Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master hosted by The Weinstein Company and The Peggy Siegal Company. There were a good amount of stars that showed up to the event but only two performers from the film made it out that night, Amy Adams and Madisen Beaty.
I had a chance to exchange a few words with Madisen Beaty (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) who plays Doris Solstad, a teenage girl who is Joaquin Phoenix’s girl that got away or, rather, slip away due to his nomadic habits.
Below you can listen to the quick interview where she talks about what it was like to be under the direction of PT Anderson and working with Joaquin on set.
