Now that Twilight is finally done forever (hopefully) it’s time to focus all our attention to the other successful young adult series, The Hunger Games, more specifically the next film, Catching Fire.
Today, via the Hunger Games Facebook page, fans unlocked the first animated logo for the film which also debuted the tagline for the film, “Every Revolution begins with a Spark.” That being said with marketing looking like it is about to ramp up for the holidays, I would imagine a teaser or full trailer should be making its way out shortly, probably through another social media campaign.
Catching Fire is directed by Francis Lawrence and will feature the stars from the first film, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Donald Sutherland. Along with these returning cast members there will be plenty of new faces making their way into the Hunger Games this go around, Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Lynn Cohen, Alan Ritchson and many others.
The film opens November 22, 2013 with the final film Mockingjay being split into two films and set for release November 21, 2014 and November 20, 2015.
