Comic Con is well known for its elaborate PR stunts, especially when it comes to movies that want to make a lasting impact on those attending. Last year, to promote the film Buried, fans could literally be trapped in a coffin and video would be made with you in a virtual cemetery. Well this year, Relativity is doing something similar, only this time it’s for their upcoming shark thriller, Shark Night 3D.
Comic-Con attendees will have the opportunity to experience the sheer terror of a shark attack right in the heart of San Diego. You will have the chance to take photos with an ineractive massive mechanical shark which, I think, is actually pretty cool. It reminds me of the photo op with the Great White Shark hanging at Universal (except that shark doesn’t move). Details about the experience are located below:
The star of the Shark Night 3D Experience at Petco Park is a hungry, man-eating, interactive mechanical shark available for photo opps with brave fans – with photo print-outs and uploads to Facebook and Twitter
