Production has only been under way for a few weeks now and it seems we have our first spy photos from Thor: The Dark World. Any of the photos you see below are not official and did not come from Marvel or Disney, also please consider these photos as spoilerish since they do show a battle.
ComingSoon.net posted a massive gallery of photos taken from the set of Thor: The Dark World and from what I can make from them, it seems that Thor, The Warriors Three and Sif are somewhere in the Relms battling what look to be Orks or possibly elves. After the prior casting announcements, Elves seem the more logical choice but these guys look like Orks. Regardless, there are some pretty cool shots of Thor beating some down, as well as the Warriors Three taking a few one as well.
The interesting thing here is that we still don’t see Thor with his helmet. I would have imagined that since the film would be taking place in the Asgardian relms that he might dawn the iconic helmet, but no such luck, at least in these photos. It’s hard to tell exactly where in the film these scenes will appear but looks like a pretty sweet battle sequence none the less.
