Four World Premieres, three US Premieres and two films from SXSW’s favorite festivals makeup the newly announced midnight lineup of this year’s SXSW festival. Of the nine titles, two of them are directed by Adam Wingard, one of which is a sequel to last year’s anthology horror V/H/S which apparently had its title changed from S-V/H/S to V/H/S/2 (a terrible idea) and the other is a cool home invasion thriller called You’re Next. We also get a midnight look at Rob Zombie’s new film The Lords of Salem, Vincenzo Natali’s new film Haunted, and a crazy movie about a battle with a Big Ass Spider.
If you’re heading to the fest or love genre films, take a look at the list below and get ready for reviews of most of them because Graham and I will be seeing as many as we possibly can.
