Following up his murderous genre flick, The Skin I live In, Pedro Almodovar is returning to his roots with a new comedy titled I’m So Excited which stars Carlos Areces, Raul Arevalo , Javier Cámara, Lola Dueñas, Carmen Machi, Laya Martí, Cecilia Roth, Hugo Silva, Miguel Ángel Silvestre and Blanca Suárez.
There is no synopsis for the film yet but based on the teaser trailer we can expect an R rated feature based on flight attendants who hate their jobs and the intense passengers they have to deal with on the regular. The teaser is pretty entertaining but I’m really curious to see more footage as I want to know what the film will actually be about (I’m hoping it’s a straight comedy and not one based on romance).
