To continue on my recent tirade of of short film promotion, I came across the trailer for an upcoming Hong Kong action fantasy film entitled Bloodtraffick starring Grace Huang and Kirt Kishita. The film, which was written and directed by Jennifer Thym, is making its way around some smaller festivals while the team is currently working on the full length feature.
When you read the synopsis below and then watch the trailer I think you’ll find it to be a rather interesting concept and one we really haven’t seen or experienced yet. Yes, there are some similar films out there but I’m a fan of the vigilante aspect. As for the trailer itself, it looks beautiful but I don’t know if I’m ready to buy into the acting, I didn’t believe in anything Grace Huang was saying throughout the trailer. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to look at the trailer so I can be proven wrong.
Check out the synopsis and trailer below and let us know if you’d like to see it as a full length feature rather than an 11 minute short?
In a world torn by a war between vampires and angels, a human vigilante on the hunt for her missing sisters is lured into the den of a vampire.
You can follow Bloodtraffick on facebook for basic information or you can check out their production site for up the latest information, stills, posters and mroe on the film.
