The Israeli writing/directing duo Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado have proven they know how to make solid movies and their latest film Big Bad Wolves is no different. I had a chance to see the film at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year and thought that it was a pretty effective thriller (read my review here). As the film gets set for its domestic release, a theatrical poster has made its way online via Twitch.
You can find the poster below, which I initially thought was kind of bland, but in fact it’s actually spot on in terms of the tone of the film: it’s comical, gritty and serious all at the same time. Check it out and feel free to watch the trailer as well if you want to get a taste for Big Bad Wolves before it eventually makes its way stateside again (it is being released by Magnet Releasing over here).
A series of brutal murders puts the lives of three men on a collision course: The father of the latest victim now out for revenge, a vigilante police detective operating outside the boundaries of law, and the main suspect in the killings – a religious studies teacher arrested and released due to a police blunder.
