Premiering at Fantastic Fest and the screening after at the Mile High Horror Film Festival is Jesse Thomas Cook (Monsters Brawl) directed feature, Septic Man.
A sewage worker gets trapped inside a septic tank during a water contamination crisis and undergoes a hideous transformation. To escaped, he must team up with a docile Giant and confront the murdering madman known as Lord Auch.
Interesting synopsis, right? After watching the trailer you can definitely tell this film was made for the aforementioned festivals where it is screening and, if the trailer is any indication of quality, the audiences will likely eat it up. While I wasn’t a fan of Monsters Brawl, this seems like a significant improvement for Mr, Cook and thankfully he had the screenwriter of Pontypool, Tony Burgess, to write a hopefully tighter film.
Fans of horror and creature features will probably be the few who would consider watching this but if you’re interested in seeing what this could possibly be about, the trailer is below. Warning, the ending has a bit of vomit and a bloody head explosion.
