Well it looks like Colin Farrell is back to being a badass again, this time in the gangster flick London Boulevard. As an ex-con trying to go straight, Farrell has to not only keep his sister safe but also protect his eventual love interest, Keira Knightley, while trying to find a way to stay out of the crime ring, led by Ray Winstone, he once belonged to.
The UK film which hits European cinemas this year is both written and directed by William Monahan, a name you don’t know but whose work you are quite familiar with: Kingdom of Heaven, The Departed, Body of Lies and Edge of Darkness. Exactly! The guy has a sweet resume and after watching the trailer for his directorial debut I have a feeling we are going to want to keep seeing him at the helm of his own pictures. Check out Farrell beating down on some paparazzi after the jump.
