If it seems like the marketing for Disney’s animated video game film Wreck-it Ralph has gone into overdrive, its because it has and thats OK. We have been seeing a ton of new stills, posters and trailers for the film and now we have four new posters which feature a few of the more iconic video game characters from the past 20 years.
With anticipation already high, the guys over over Disney know how to play to not just the kids but also the adults who grew up playing most of the games featured in the animated film. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more adults in attendance for the film than children.
As most are already aware, the film focuses on Ralph (voiced by John C. Reilly) who is tired of his life as a villain in the video game Fix it Felix Jr. So in search of a more meaningful life, Ralph jumps through the video game world trying to find that one thing that will give him satisfaction and the feeling that he is finally a hero. From the trailers we have seen all kinds of iconic video game characters from titles like Sonic the Hedgehog, Street Fighter, Super Mario Brothers, etc.
Check out the four posters below (via IGN) which feathers a few characters from the video game titles above as well as a character poster featuring Ralph and Felix Jr. Wreck-it Ralph hits theaters November 2, 2012.
